I understand that using the Mind Detox Method (MDM), or any advice or technique shared by SANDY NEWBIGGING is completely voluntary, under my own free will and at my own risk.

I also understand that no assurance guaranteeing my safety is being made and I agree to hold SANDY NEWBIGGING, CALMCO LTD, SUTRATMAN LTD, MINDBODYCO LTD, MIND DETOX ACADEMY, MIND DETOX METHOD (MDM), the sponsors, facilitators, organisers and property owners completely harmless of all liability if I sustain any injury (except for any injury which is caused by SANDY NEWBIGGING’s negligence or fraud or the negligence or fraud of any other party listed above). By agreeing to this waiver, I agree to assume full responsibility for any injury or injuries, physical, emotional and mental, that I may sustain when using MDM which is not caused by SANDY NEWBIGGING’s negligence or fraud (or the negligence or fraud of any other party listed above).

I also understand that SANDY NEWBIGGING shall not be liable to me, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any loss of profit, or for any indirect or consequential loss sustained by me or any third party arising under, or in connection with, me practising the Mind Detox Method. However, nothing in this Disclaimer shall limit or exclude SANDY NEWBIGGING’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, or the negligence of its employees, agents or subcontractors or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Monthly Payments / Membership / Refunds

MIND DETOX ACADEMY offers monthly payment plans and membership plans. The MIND DETOX CLUB is a monthly or annual membership website. You will be automatically charged a monthly or annual membership fee until you unsubscribe - depending upon the membership plan you choose. Members are responsible for managing their own account. You cannot cancel your membership via the website contact form or by email. If you want to stop having access to the ‘Calm Clan’ (www.calmclan.com), log in and click on your name then click on 'My Profile' in the pop-up window and 'Cancel Subscription'. We hope you decide to stay with us and make the most of all that's on offer here. 

The full balance for your course must be paid before graduating. If you decide to cancel your course before graduating, then you are required to continue your monthly payments until the full balance is complete.

No refunds are offered if students forget or didn't realise they were subscribed or on unused proportions of any given month. So if, for example, you are charged on the first day of the month or year and then decide to cancel your membership before the end of the month or year, no partial refunds on the unused days is available. You are however still able to have full access to the training resources until the end of your payment period. If you are on the annual membership plan, we recommend putting a reminder in your calendar a few days before the end of your first year - so you can decide if you want to continue as a member for another year. Once charged, no refunds.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy sets out the basis on which Sandy Newbigging (the Founder of Mind Detox Academy), will process any personal data we collect from you, or which you provide to us, in the course of using our sites www.minddetoxacademy.com ("site) and Sandy's other linked websites www.minddetox.club and www.sandynewbigging.com . For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 we are the data controller.

Your privacy is extremely important to Sandy C. Newbigging.  This privacy statement provides information about the personal information that we collect, and the ways in which Sandy C. Newbigging uses that personal information. 

When do we collect information?

When you subscribe to our newsletter or register for our services - online webinar, course, coaching or during certain promotions when you are invited to provide your name and email address in order to receive a gift. 

What information do we collect?

When placing an order or filling out a form on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, postal address, telephone number or email address. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

What do we use your information for?

Any information we collect from you may be used in the following ways:

  • To send periodic emails - mainly - Academy Newsletter. The email address you provide for order processing may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, as well as timely company news and announcements regarding related products and services. Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.To personalize your experience, your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs.

  • To improve our website. We strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you.

  • To improve customer service. Your information helps us to more efficiently respond to your customer service requests and support needs.

  • To process transactions. Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested by the customer.

  • To administer a contest, promotion, survey, or other site feature.

How do we protect your information?

Sandy Newbigging implements a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Our email mailing list is held inside MailChimp. If a form is submitted then a copy of the form is held within Sandy's email system so that we can contact you about your order. Only Sandy and his personal assistant have access to any information provided and everything is password protected. 

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

No. Never. Sandy Newbigging does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, as long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property or safety. 

Third Party Links

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through our website and not to information collected offline.

The information with this website, techniques and exercises provided within these free and paid home study course resources and products are for educational purposes only. Do not use the techniques or exercises contained within some of these products whilst driving or operating machinery, or if you suffer from epilepsy, clinical depression or any other nervous or psychiatric conditions. The information provided is not a substitute for proper medical advice. If in doubt, please consult your doctor or licensed medical practitioner.

Health Policy

No claims are being made that our methods can heal physical conditions. Our clinics, courses, retreats or products should not substitute for the advice and treatment of a physician, doctor or other licensed health-care professional. You are only allowed to attend our clinic, course/workshop or retreat if you are of good enough health to get to and from the location without support and look after yourself during your time with us.

Refunds for Home Study Courses

A full refund is available up until you have received the login details for the training resources. This is because at that point in the registration process you have access to all of the training materials for your course. If you have any difficulties arise during the course, then please talk it through with your dedicated trainer or Sandy. Challenges are best faced sooner rather than later and can often be highly beneficial learning and growth opportunities.

Bookings/Payments with 3rd Party Practitioners

No money should be paid directly to your dedicated coach trainer.  They should never ask you to pay anything.  Please let us know if they do.  

Please contact your dedicated Coach Mentor with any questions you may have in relation to Skype/Zoom session dates and times.

Complaints Procedure

We aim to provide an excellent customer experience. However, if the Mind Detox Academy does fall short of your expectations, we would like to know about it as soon as possible to resolve the situation. All complaints will be treated seriously and confidentially.

Here is what you can do:

  • Contact the person involved and request that the issue is resolved directly

  • Contact the Mind Detox Academy via the contact form providing sufficient details of what the complaint is about so that we can understand the nature of the complaint and respond accordingly

We will:

  • Listen to your issue

  • Review the information you have shared and ask for additional supporting information if necessary

  • Speak with any relevant 3rd Party Providers

  • Keep you informed on the progress of our enquiries

  • Use any complaints as an opportunity to improve the way the Mind Detox Academy is operated.
